Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi's romantic love story Fidaa grossed Rs. 4.93 crores on an opening day. Varun's latest release Tholi Prema made the first-day collection of Rs. 5.13 crores. As the collections in the US include the amount made from Thursday to Saturday, the total got increased. Maintaining success rate is not everyone's cup of tea but this mega hero succeeded in it.
So many star heroes these days fail to score a hit after a blockbuster. Even the medium range heroes are also no exception. In fact, Varun was under a lot of pressure after the super hit of Fidaa. He has to maintain the market same as Fidaa which made Rs. 50 crores. Even if his next movie hasn't broken the record it has to reach the bars set by Fidaa on an opening day at least. He has to repeat the craze to become a dependable and promising actor.
But, if Tholi Prema becomes a blockbuster, then Varun can earn the successful young hero tag after Bunny and Charan in the mega family.
