OTT Release Date Fixed For NBK's Sankranti Hit!

After a hit like 'Akhanda', the expectations were sky high on Nandamuri Balakrishna's immediate project 'Veera Simha Reddy'. Directed by Gopichandh Malineni, this mass action entertainer was released during the Sankranti season and competed with Chiranjeevi's 'Waltair Veerayya' and Vijay's 'Varisu'. Despite the heavy competition the movie held its own and minted more than 100 crores as announced by the production house.
Despite an overdramatic second half which brought the graph down, the film was decent and ended up with minor profits. With the movie completing 30 days of its theatrical run, popular OTT platform Disney + Hotstar announced the digital release date of this flick. They dropped an action-packed trailer and revealed that 'Veera Simha Reddy' will be premiered on February 23rd at 6 PM.
Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar have bankrolled the film, while acclaimed writer Sai Madhav Burra has provided dialogues. Ram-Lakshman duo and Venkat are the fight masters. Rishi Punjabi is the director of photography, Navin Nooli is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer. Duniya Vijay will be seen as the villain while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played the role of Balayya's sister. Shruti Hassan and Honey Rose are the heroines in this movie.
Balakrishna is working under the direction of Anil Ravipudi now. This is Balayya's 108th film and people are curious to see what kind of movie comes from this combination. Sources say that Kajal Agarwal is going to be the heroine in this flick while Sreeleela plays a crucial role. Shine Screen banner is going to bankroll this project and senior actor Sharath Kumar is playing a key role in it. Thaman is the music composer once again.
