Venky and Rana in a remake?

These days it has become tough to put in all the elements for one hero film and if you need two heroes in your movies, then the story needs to be something special. Heroes of today have to fight for a goal with a person who has similar attitude like him. Such stories are increasing these days and in Tamil, Vikram Vedha starring Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi is one such one.
Latest reports suggest that Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, who have been looking to star in a movie from long time, have zeroed in on remaking the movie. In Vikram Vedha, if one of the heroes is a Police and righteous like a King Vikram, then Vedha is a gangster, who kills people. Both of them are equally clever and one runs the story in accordance to other's wishes but they both end up pointing guns at each other in the climax.
All these days, both Venky and Rana have been waiting for a suitable story and even Pushkar- Gayatri the makers of the Tamil Original, pitched a story for them but that did not work out well enough. Now, YNot Studios, who produced Guru with Venkatesh are looking to produce this remake as well. It would be highly interesting to see Rana as Vedha and Venkatesh as Police encounter specialist, Vikram. Let's see!
