Venu Udugula Talks About His Vision Behind 'Virataparvam'!

The movie is finally hitting the screens on June 17th and the trailer launch happened in Kurnool recently. The trailer got a phenomenal response and Sai Pallavi completely stole the show.
The promotions have officially begun and the film's director Venu Udugula interacted with the media recently. The director proved his talent with a movie like 'Needi Naadi Oke Katha' with Sree Vishnu which came out in 2018. The film had a very deep message. For his second film, he took Naxalism as the backdrop and narrated a love story.
Going by the trailer, it is quite clear that the director is inclined towards the left ideology and presented it in the most emotional way possible. Speaking about 'Virataparvam', he said, "The atmosphere I grew up in, the life I saw and the books I read have given me a vision of what kind of films need to be made. I want to tell the stories that I know and tales that were hidden in our history. 'Virataparvam' is one such attempt."
Many feel that this movie is going to be a bold effort that touches a lot of sensitive topics. Let us wait and see how the film turns out on 17th June.
Rana plays the role of Comrade Ravanna in this movie which is inspired by the true events of the 1990s. He writes poetry in this film and his pen name is Aranya. Sai Pallavi plays the role of Vennela who is a big admirer of Ravanna's poetry. The film also has an amazing star cast comprising Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Benarji, Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad and others.
Dani Sanchez Lopez is the cinematographer along with Divakar Mani. Suresh Bobbili scored the music and Raju Sundaram is the choreographer while Stephen Richard along with Peter Hein composed the fights.
