Telugu Film Industry has been taking measures to address the Casting Couch issue in the Telugu Film Industry. A press meet has been convened to inform about the Special Committee to be formed.
Director's Association President N Shankar informed half of the members in the CASH Committee will be outsiders including Lawyers, Doctors and Educationists. He opined a confusion has been created as women has been using other platforms instead of approaching the Associations for expressing their plight. 'Nobody from the Industry spoke about the ban on media. Film Industry and Media should remain united,' he clarified.
New Rules in Telugu Film Industry:
Videography is a must for carrying out auditions from now onwards.
Audition should be conducted in the presence of a Woman Staffer.
SHE Team Hotline will be established for taking quick action on the complaints.
Modelling Co-ordinators should be qualified and have license.
A Panel will be constituted to counsel the Aspiring Actors entering the Film Industry.
