Hats Off, Vidya Balan

Now that the first part of NTR biopic is released in the theatres and everyone started acknowledging the efforts put by the film unit in shaping the project into a memorable one. Obviously, the credit for the success has to be given to Balakrishna and then the director Krish Jagarlamudi but there are a few others who shined in the movie in a way that we can not imagine the movie without them. The first one on the list is Vidya Balan who played the role Basavatarakam, the wife of NTR.

Even though it is her debut, Vidya Balan portrayed the character with a lot of confidence. We can give it to her for a pleasant appearance on the screen and an attractive screen presence. In every scene that involves her, she caught the attention and delivered an emotional performance with minute detailing in the expressions.

Vidya Balan will strike out mind whenever we think of Basavatarakam in the future. No one actually knew how she behaves, how she looks and how she was with her husband but it was shown beautifully in the movie. Reacting to her son's death is one example scene to describe her caliber. Being said that, we just can not imagine anyone else for this role and if not for Vidya Balan, the movie would not have achieved this success.

Well done Vidya and we look forward to you in more Telugu movies.
