Vidya Shares How She Escaped Nose Job!

Plastic surgeries have become very common these days and the majority of the heroines are going under the knife to enhance their beauty. Even heroes are not an exception to this trend. But Vidya Balan is saying that she was terrified when a top producer asked her to fix her long nose with surgery.
Vidya Balan is known as a talented heroine and she is praised for her no-nonsense approach. She has recently celebrated her 38th birthday. In an interview given to a news daily on the occasion of her birthday, she revealed a shocking incident. She said that the producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra asked her to at the time of her debut film 'Parineeta' to undergo nose surgery. She remembered Vidhu saying "It's a long nose, I'll send you to LA to get it done." Vidya said she was terrified hearing it but she was scared to say 'no' because it was her debut film.
Vidya then approached director Pradeep Sarkar and convinced him that there is no need to cut her nose to be an actress. Vidya revealed that the issue was somehow resolved later and she didn't have to undergo surgery.
After sharing the incident she said "I'm happy to look like a 38-year-old. People tell me to get the lines removed from the face. But I'm Ok with it. Let people know that I have lived a good 38 years."
