Vijay Confirms That His Next Is Not A Telugu Film!

Thalapathy Vijay is a huge star who can create records at the box office irrespective of the film's verdict. His latest release 'Beast' met with poor reviews and the audience who watched the film were also not at all satisfied but the film had a massive opening and it is expected to end up as a safe venture in Tamil Nadu.
Prior to the release of 'Beast', Vijay gave an interview with his 'Beast' director Nelson Dilipkumar. It got a lot of views and he talked about various things in that interview. One of them is about his upcoming film with Vamsi Paidipally and producer Dil Raju.
Vamsi Paidipally is a noted director in Telugu as he made movies like 'Munna', 'Yevadu', 'Oopiri', 'Brindavanam' and 'Maharshi'. On the other hand, Dil Raju is a star producer in Telugu who bankrolled many super hit films.
With a Telugu director and producer joining hands with Vijay, many thought that their project is going to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Also, heroine Rashmika Mandanna is a star in Telugu compared to Tamil and Thaman is the top music director of Tollywood right now. With everything pointing towards a bilingual, people assumed the same but it is not the case according to the star hero himself.
The 'Bigil' actor recently clarified, "It's not a Telugu film, it is a Tamil movie only. And then it will be dubbed into many languages including Telugu and Hindi and gets a massive release. It is an Indian cinema after the final copy comes out." He further stated that a Telugu director and a producer are making a Tamil movie but he is not doing a straight Telugu film.
Thanks to Dil Raju, 'Beast' is still running in a good number of theatres in Telugu states. Despite the storm of 'KGF – 2', Vijay's film is kept in some theatres as people who failed to get tickets for Yash starrer might end up watching 'Beast' instead.
