Vijay is Samantha's boy friend?

With Pelli Choopulu movie, Vijay Devarakonda succeeded in increasing his market but with the blockbuster of Arjun Reddy, the craze of him went to peaks. He is currently one of the heroes who have high demand. The response the promotional material of his upcoming movie is getting is the proof of it. Vijay played an important role in Mahanati movie which is marking its release on May 9th.

The makers have recently released the look of him in the movie. His role is named as Vijay Antony and the poster features Vijay talking with Samantha "Truth will always be beautiful Madhuravani" says Vijay's character. Though it is known that the actor is playing a vital role in the movie, everyone thought that it was ANR's role. But the movie unit thanked Naga Chaitanya and also cleared these rumours.

In the poster, Vijay is seen driving a scooter and with a camera on the neck. He seems to be hinting that he is also playing the role of a journalist just like Samantha. Both of them work together and do the research. Some are also commenting that Vijay is playing the role of Madhuravani's boyfriend.
