How Did Vijay Devarakonda Came Into Movies?
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Oct 2018 8:40 AM GMTWe all know that Vijay struggled hard for one film chance before he could join a film like Pelli Choopulu that turned his life completely around.
He worked everyday to achieve all the success he is enjoying today and even his huge following that came after a film like Arjun Reddy, did not come over night. Anyways, how did he get the idea to become an actor? What made him get attracted to it?
Vijay Devarakonda talking about it, said, "My father used to scold me everyday that I am wasting my time without any goal or passion during my degree days.
I told him one day, that I want to learn filmmaking and would love to join New York Institute. I knew we don't have so much money and parents won't accept my request.
But in a week, my father made me join a theatre group. Until I joined there, I never took acting seriously. I learnt how to behave like a character there.
Today, I am enjoying the process more and more, which I hated in my starting days. My father said that writing civils and finding a job would be easy than getting an opportunity in films. He said there are 400 jobs every year for Civils qualifiers but no guarantee about a film! But I pursued my dreams," concluded Vijay Devarakonda.
