Is Taxiwala A Copy Or A Freemake?
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Nov 2018 12:41 PM GMTFor any new Telugu movie, the question is quite obvious. How much of it is copied? How much of it is original and how much is just taken from some other film, in the name of 'inspiration'?
Now, Taxiwala next release of the year for Vijay Devarakonda is only facing the same question. Long back in Telugu, Caru diddina Kaapuram movie released basing on an English movie that had ghost haunting a car.
In Hindi, Tarzan - The Wonder Car is made on similar theme. In Tamil, recently, Nayantara's Dora is also based on the concept of Car being possessed by a ghost.
Taxiwala new promos have revealed this part of the story and we have to say that the question of movie being a copy? Even crossed our minds too.
But until we watch the film, we cannot be sure about it. Few directors, take inspiration and write their own subjects. Few just take the point and deliver their own story.
So, on 17th November we can have this discussion about how the film is a copied? If it is. How it an original or inspired? If it is. For now, we can just hope for a good film, no matter what it is.
