Most of the heroes won't turn down the opportunity to work in Bollywood. But Tollywood sensation Vijay Deverakonda said NO to Bollywood star hero Ranveer Singh which has now become a hot topic.
When the makers approached Vijay Deverakonda to play the role of cricketer Srikkanth in Kapil Dev biopic starring Ranveer Singh, the 'Arjun Reddy' actor has politely stated that he is not interested to play a second lead role even though it is a great opportunity for him and rejected the offer. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of former cricketer Kapil Dev in the biopic. The movie revolves around India winning the Cricket World Cup. Kabir Khan is helming this project.
Telugu producer Vishnu Induri is bankrolling this project. Vishnu himself has suggested to rope in Vijay Deverakonda for Srikkanth's role. It seems like Vijay Deverakona wants to mark his debut in Bollywood as the lead actor than playing guest roles.
