Vijay's Movie Suffering With Low Buzz!

Thanks to the stupendous promotions by the Mythri Movie Makers team, both 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy' managed to get a massive hype around them. Hit songs, impressive trailers and grand pre-release events have worked in favour of them. But Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' which has been trying to make a lot of noise since the beginning is still carrying a low buzz compared to other releases in Telugu.
Vijay has been ruling the roost in Tamil Nadu since the early 2000s. His craze grew immensely in the past decade and he even pushed aside a legend like Rajnikanth. Due to his number one position, his films are getting more than 70 crores irrespective of the verdict. Despite all that, his craze in Telugu is quite less compared to other heroes like Dhanush, Surya, Karthi and others.
He managed to get some recognition with his last few films like 'Bigil', 'Adirindi', 'Jilla', 'Thuppaki', 'Policodu' and others. Even his last film 'Beast' too earned nearly 10 crores though it earned a very bad talk. With Vijay working under Dil Raju's banner, many expected his Telugu market to grow immensely. Vamsi Paidipally is the director of this film which is a straight Tamil film but will be dubbed in Telugu. This movie is facing a lot of issues in Tollywood starting from Dil Raju's tussle with distributors, allotment of theatres and many others. The trailer too failed to generate a positive response.
With such a huge competition from Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, 'Varisu' is facing a lot of trouble and the low buzz is not helping at all. Let us see how things turn out.
