Shankar Looking At Thala-Thalapathy Now?

Shankar from Tamil Cinema made enough name for himself to be known as the legend of Indian Cinema who brought grandeur to regular films too.
The director made National level fame with Kamal Haasan's film Indian and then Aparichitudu, became a good hit in Hindi too, for him to try even bigger budget films.
He got his wish to direct Rajnikanth in Sivaji, Enthiran and 2.0. Except for 2.0 other two created sensational records and are known as commercial movie classics.
He lost his touch in handling movies with VFX and I, 2.0 became big examples of that. He went back to Kamal Haasan, for Indian-2, as it is the movie which started big things for him.
The movie seems to have hit a rough patch in production as no one is able to tell, if the movie is shelved or will it start shooting again?
Right now, Kollywood reports suggest that the director is looking at Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith for his next movie. As they both have big markets to get him the money needed, he is looking at one of them or bring both of them together it seems.
The script work is still going on and he doesn't want to give up on Indian-2 just yet and hence, he is waiting to announce his next it seems. Vijay is doing Bigil with Atlee to complete three movies with him and his next is given to an young director breaking Murugadoss, Atlee routine.
Thala Ajith is doing Nerkonda Paarvai and with the same director, H. Vinoth, an action film with same producer, Boney Kapoor.
