On the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi, the makers of Panjaa Vaishnav Tej, Vijay Sethupathi's Uppena have dropped the teaser and it looks like a visual treat for fans. However, the makers of the film didn't reveal any glimpse of Vijay Sethupathi, who is said to be an asset to the film. Even before the teaser was out, Sethupathi's look in the film was leaked but his mannerisms and costumes are kept secret.
As per a report, the Master actor appears as a ruthless villain in Uppena. Being a star actor in Kollywood, Sethupathi playing an antagonist role in debut actors film is surprising the Telugu audience. In fact, the Tamil actor was even more highlighted than Vaishnav Tej. It remains to be seen how the director has canned Vijay's scenes and how far it can show its impact on the success of the film.
The film has debutant Krithi Shetty in the female lead and is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who is a protege of Sukumar. While the camera is cranked by Shamdat Sainudeen, the music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
