100 Gold coins: Hero's noble initiative

Film Industry appears to be glamorous on the surface level but it is also an inudstry just like any other. Technological changes in the film making are forcing several technicians go out of work. Most of them are missing recognition also. Tamil hero Vijay Sethupathi.. National award winning filmmaker SP Jananathan have taken up a noble initiative to honour 100 such Tamil technicians.
It is known that Indian film industry is celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema this year. To mark this occasion, they are conducting an event in Ulagayutha Foundation on May 1. They are going to felicitate 100 selected senior technicians from 24 crafts of cinema with gold coins as sovereigns. Each one of the 100 technicians will be presented a gold coin.
While announcing the details of the event, Vijay Sethupathi said that he consider this as the biggest opportunity to show his love and respect towards the technicians.
