Lady Amitabh Questions The Lack Of Telugu Heroines!

Heroines have a short career span compared to heroes. That is why we see a wave of heroines arriving in the industry every few years. Despite this many talents entering, it is tough to find a Telugu heroine who've reached the top spot in the past two and a half decades.

Considered as lady superstar, Vijayashanti was the last star heroine from Telugu. After a long sabbatical from films, she is coming back with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. Her first look was released recently and she is getting wishes from everywhere. When asked about the lack of Telugu heroines in the industry at present and the reason behind this, she expressed her anger on Telugu girls for not trying to catch the opportunities here. She also said that working in other languages is not wrong as she too did the same thing but not making an effort to succeed in our own industry isn't appreciable.

While we encourage every heroine that comes our way, it is time to think about the reason behind the absence of Telugu heroines in our industry. Is it the fault of our producers? Or Are the women hesitant to act in Telugu films?
