He Says Vijay Would Win An Oscar!

Whenever there is an audio function or a filmy event, there will be exaggerated speeches praising heroes and directors. Sometimes those speeches will go to an extent that they miss all the logics. The same thing happened yesterday during the audio launch of Vijay's Tamil film 'Mersal'.
Popular theater exhibitor in Tamil Nadu, Abirami Ramanathan gave a speech praising Vijay. He said several nice things about Vijay that once Vijay used to request them for screening his films. The situation has been completely changed in these 25 years that all the distributors are waiting for Vijay film to screen in their theaters. He went on to say that Vijay would win an Oscar award soon.
As soon as he spoke about Oscar award, trolling started in the social media. Netizens started trolling him that how could Vijay win an Oscar? Because Best Actor category only considers English films and English(Mainly Hollywood or British ) actors. They won't consider any other language actors including Tamil. Our films can be nominated for Oscars but only in Best Foreign Film category. There is no other category as Best Foreign actor or Best Tamil Actor in Oscars.
The only way Vijay could win an Oscar is to act in an English film just like Dhanush is doing.. and perform better than Hollywood actors. But Vijay has never acted in other language films rather than Tamil. In such a situation, Abirami Ramanathan said that Vijay would soon win an Oscar. If that's the case, Kamal Haasan would have done it long ago!
