Top writer advising other writers to copy?

Vijayendra Prasad is undoubtedly one of the most renowned script writers in Tollywood. Though he haven't scored any hits as a director, Vijayendra Prasad gained success as a writer. He is the script writer of almost all the movies directed by his son Rajamouli.

Recently in Ravindra Bharathi, the Telugu Television Writers Association and Cultural Arts Committee held a two-day training sessions for the Movie and Television directors. On the last day of the program, Vijayendra Prasad, Yandamuri Veerendranath, cameraman MV Raghu etc attended the event on Sunday and shared their opinions. While giving his speech, Vijayendra Prasad shared his experiences and some important things to be remembered by the writers. He stated that that it is okay to get inspired from a story but should not copy them. He gave a good example to explain the difference between taking inspiration and copying. He stated that he took inspiration from Chiranjeevi's Pasivadi Pranam movie and wrote the story of Bollywood movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
