Vijayendra Prasad's Political Stance To Help Rajamouli!
By: Tupaki Desk | 23 Aug 2022 1:28 PM GMTSS Rajamouli is a name that needs no introduction. He is considered as the top director in India right now and his record-breaking films prove his worth. He opened the doors of the national market for Telugu cinema and is making waves in the international arena with his last outing 'RRR' which earned more than 1100 cores at the box-office. While his 'Baahubali' franchise and 'RRR' are considered as pro-right wing movies by many, he never talks about it.
But a lot of people are suggesting that his father Vijayendra Prasad's pro-BJP and Hindutva stance will help Rajamouli's films even more. Vijayendra Prasad is the story writer for all of his son's films apart from movies like 'Bhajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Manikarnika' and others. He is also lining up a couple of movies that are based on India's freedom struggle and history. BJP already made the senior writer a Rajya Sabha member.
In recent times, the central government is playing a crucial role in making the film a hit or a failure. Though not directly, the Hindutva and pro-nationalist movies are getting a very good response from the audience. The government is helping such films by giving special permissions too. 'Kashmir Files' stands as the best example. With his father moving closely to the ruling party, one can predict that Rajamouli's movies are going to have grander reception and can open itself to unexplored avenues.
