Director Vikram Kumar has a good reputation as a talented filmmaker. Unlike several other directors who do not come out of their comfort zones, Vikram always tries to come up with interesting films and try to explore different genres. No other director has tried that many genres tried by Vikram Kumar. A love story like 'Ishq'.. reincarnation family drama 'Manam'.. horror thriller '13B'.. sci-fi thriller like '24' show his passion towards cinema.
Vikram's recent outing 'Hello' starring Akkineni Akhil didn't meet the expectations of the audience. Though Vikram is praised for the technical brilliance, the wafer-thin story spoiled its chances at the box office. What next for Vikram now? Is he doing a film with Naga Chaitanya as revealed by Nagarjuna during the promotions of 'Hello'?
Vikram Kumar confirmed that he is going to direct Chaitu in his next film but it will take 4-5 months. Surprisingly, Vikram went on to reveal his other future projects as well. He said that he will team up with Nithiin after Chaitu project. Vikram said that he is also planning to work with Suriya again. He revealed that both had a few meetings and discussed the story and he exuded confidence that he will convince him with a good story soon.
