As per reports in circulation, Ashwini Dutt offered advance to Vikram Kumar after he delivered back-to-back hits (13B, Ishq) to make him direct a film for Vyjayanthi Movies. For reasons best known to both of them, The project in their combination hasn't materialized so far. Vikram Kumar continued to do films such as 'Manam', '24' and 'Ishq' for other production houses. Ashwini Dutt approached the Telugu Film Chamber and Directors Council for refund of the advance he paid to Vikram Kumar. The Film Body asked the Director to pay Rs 1.5 crore from the remuneration of his next project to the Producer.
It's unclear how much advance did Ashwini Dutt offer to Vikram Kumar. Seems like, He is likely to get interest as well for the amount offered to the Director.
Vikram Kumar is yet to figure out the project he would direct after 'Hello'. Projects with Allu Arjun and Nani were kept on hold.
