'Vikram' Not Slowing Down Despite Nearing OTT Release!

Despite having one of the most promising young talent like Lokesh Kanagaraj as the director and top heroes like Fahadh Fasil and Vijay Sethupathi playing key roles, no one thought Kamal Hassan's 'Vikram' would be such a huge success. People expected nothing but a hit to Kamal Hassan as he hasn't tasted success for a long time.
With 'Indian 2' getting shelved and 'Vishwaroopam 2' along with 'Uttama Villain' failing badly at the box office, the legendary actor was unofficially out of the number one race. Many termed him as a legend who is slowly getting faded away. But he showed his stardom once again with 'Vikram' and it shattered every possible record in Kollywood right now. Considering the business it did, 'Vikram' is a huge success already in the Telugu market. The action drama entered huge profits long back in Tamil Nadu too and Kamal gifted cars, bikes and watches to the people who worked in it.
This movie is getting released digitally on 8th July in Disney + Hotstar. The promos have been telecasted already. Despite that, the movie is still setting records. Without any collections from the Hindi market, 'Vikram' managed to get over 400 crores worldwide and it grossed a total of 300 crores just in India alone. This is a rare feat for a film that was not made on a high budget like 'RRR' or 'KGF' or 'Baahubali'.
Apart from star cast, the film also features Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Arjun Das and Shivani Narayanan in supporting roles. Anirudh is the music composer while Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer. Philomin Raj is the editor of this flick. Suriya played the role of Rolex in the film and he will be seen as the main villain in the next part.
