Arjun Reddy, has ballooned into Telugu Film market from nowhere and became huge hit. It was controversially original in its tone and youth connected to it more than other demographics.
The movie showed that an independent voice can be heard by audiences if it is said with passion and adulation, the movie received is phenomenal.
It created a star out of an actor like Vijay Devarakonda and he is still riding the wave, it created, even after 8 months after the movie released, so you can imagine the impact of the film.
Such a huge hit, will have takers from other languages too. While, director of the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is busy trying to find the unique voice he did in Telugu, once again in Hindi, Tamil remake rights are bought by Vikram.
Chiyaan Vikram wanted his son, Dhruv, to be launched as an actor two years later but Arjun Reddy changed his plans and the young actor is ready to take on the challenge.
Chiyaan shared his son's look from the film on Instagram and many of his fans and Telugu audience, who knew Arjun Reddy, felt he looks ready for the part. If he can live up to the talent that his father shown on screen, he might become a bigger star than his father for sure.
Verma, the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, will be directed by Bala, who made Sethu, with Vikram and made him the star he is. Vikram, hence requested him to make the movie in Tamil, in his own style.
