Most of the city people does not know the stamina of the villages. Except for what they hear about the villages, most of the city people haven't experienced the village life. Especially the young generation people don't know how the life in villages will be. Maybe that is the reason why the filmmakers these days are showing the beauty of villages with their movies.

In the past, the urban centric movies used to be a trend. But as the filmmakers realised that the audience are also showing interest towards village themed movies, they are picking the same theme for their movies. They are preparing a good village based story with attractive narration and casting based on the theme of the film. Recently, Rangastalam movie which came in front of the audience with 1985 village backdrop became the blockbuster hit. Nagarjuna's career best movie Soggade Chinni Nayana also runs with a village background. Even Sharwanand and Anupama's superhit movie Sathamanam Bhavati is also the same.

Varun Tej's biggest hit Fidaa movie with Sai Pallavi under the direction of Shekar Kammula also have a village background in the first half. Though the second half of the film is shot in the foreign location, the highlight scenes of the movie are in the village. Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu multistarrer movie Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu also became a superhit. So, most of the village based movies are becoming super hits and Tollywood has became a care of address for such films.
