Villagers stall Superstar movie shoot
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 July 2014 10:10 AM GMTThe shooting of Rajinikanth starrer 'Lingaa' has been planned in Anajpur village of Hayathnagar mandal, Ranga Reddy district. However, Shoot got disrupted with the objection raised by the villagers who complained the unit members have been pouring the chemical wastes in the lake which is a source of drinking water.
The unit informed the villagers about obtaining permission from irrigation officials and gram panchayat prior to the shooting. As of now, Both the parties have been working on a compromise.
Earlier, Anajpur villagers warned 'Baahubali' unit that they would disrupt the proceedings if they continue to shoot in their place.
Rajinikanth plays a dual role in 'Lingaa'. One of the role happens to be that of a district collector. The film is scheduled for December 12th release.
