Sr Hero Vinod Kumar Arrested

Hero Vinod Kumar who is seen in many popular Telugu films like Srivari Priyuralu, Mamagaru and recently in Balakrishna's Srimannarayana, is arrested by Puttur, Tamilnadu police in connection with a murder conspiracy case.
According to complaint of his former manager Sachhidananda, it is alleged that the actor along with one Uday Chikkittaya had attempted to kill him by using a vehicle and portray it as an accident. Sachhidananda said that on Sunday he left on his motorcycle with a villager as pillion rider to fetch milk. Near Hanumagiri in Eshwarmagala, his vehicle was hit by a jeep driven by Uday Chikkittaya. He accused Uday of causing the accident at the instance of the actor Vinod Kumar aka Vinod Alva.
A case was registered under sections 120 B (Criminal conspiracy) and 307 (Attempt to murder) of Indian Penal Code on Vinod.
