The Forbes magazine released the list of top 100 athletes and sports persons with the highest income per year and the first place is occupied by ace Switzerland Tennis player Roger Federer. As per the magazines, he earned 106 million dollars per years which sums over 700 crores in the Indian currency.
The second place is occupied by Portugal Football star Cristiano Ronaldo with 105 million dollars of income every year. Argentine Footballer Lionel Messi takes the third spot with 104 million dollars. Brazil Football star Neymar Jr stood forth in this list with 95 million dollars of earnings every year. The NBA players occupied the next few spots on the list with their heavy earnings.
Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli is the only cricketer and the only Indian to make it on that list. With a yearly earning of 26 million dollars, Virat Kohli stood in the 66th place this year. Converting it into Indian currency, he earns up to 175 crores per year. He reportedly earns 24 million dollars through his endorsements and deals whole the rest two million are from his match fees and BCCI contracts.
