Virat Kohli And Tamannaah Receives Notices From Kerala HC

They have been sent a legal notice from Kerala High court for promoting the online rummy after a petition was filed by a native from Thrissur.
A division bench of Kerala High Court headed by chief justice S Manikumar comprising justice Anil K Narendran on Wednesday sent notices while hearing on a petition seeking to stop online rummy games. It also asked reply from the Kerala government on this.A full investigation will be carried out as soon as a report is received from the government.
Pauly Vadakkan, a Thrissur native filed the petition, alleging that Online Rummy games are becoming more and more popular. The state of Kerala passed the Kerala Gaming Act in 1960 making it a crime to play rummy. The government did the law did but failed to enforce it.
However online rummy is not included in this law. In the petition, Pauly Vadakkan requested the court to take immediate action. He alleged that three celebrities acted as brand ambassadors for the online rummy to gain popularity.
