Virat Kohli Heavily Fined For Maintaining Slow Over-Rate

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli had a forgettable night at the Dubai International Stadium. The RCB played their second match with KXIP and lost the match by a big margin of 97 runs.
After winning the toss, the RCB captain chose bowling first and failed to restrict the runs. During the match, what surprised the spectators is Kohli dropped two catches of centurion KL Rahul. Coming to the batting, he could not contribute in the run chase.
Apart from them, Virat Kohli has been fined Rs. 12 lakh on Thursday for maintaining slow over-rate against the King XI Punjab. It was RCB's first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences.
The drop catches of Kohli proved to be costly as KXIP skipper smashed an unbeaten 132 enabling the team to post 206 for 3 batting first.
