Tamil hero with Telugu roots Vishal has done several mass masala films in the initial days of his career.. slowly he changed his route. He is trying to mix commercial elements with different stories and impressing the audience. His last film 'Thupparivaalan'(Detective in Telugu) released last year and impressed the audience and won critical acclaim as well.
Now, he is coming up with his latest film 'Irumbu Thirai'(Abhimanyudu in Telugu). The movie is releasing in Tamil & Telugu on May 11. He is getting ready for an experiment as part of promotions of this film. He has made preparations for footage screening for the Tamil media just two days before the movie release. Footage screening is an age-old tradition in Hollywood. This screening consists of crucial scenes in the film..and their making etc. The duration of this screening will last for an hour. This footage screening will help in creating a feel.. mood before watching the actual film.
