Vishal's Saamanyudu picks Radhe Shyam's date

Noted Tamil actor Vishal's upcoming film, Saamanyudu is in the final leg of production now and the makers have now announced the theatrical release date.
"Actor/Producer #Vishal is planning to release his #Saamanyudu movie on Jan14th for #Sankranti2022." The statement from the makers of Saamanyudu read.
Saamanyudu is a proper action thriller with Vishal in the central role. The filming was completed last week and while many anticipated January-end theatrical release, the makers announced that the film will be arriving in theatres this Sankranthi season.
Now, it is evident that Saamanyudu has picked 14th January, the date that has been locked for Prabhas's Radhe Shyam.
Amidst rumors that Radhe Shyam's release might get postponed, several Telugu films have picked the Sankranthi release slot.
Saamanyudu is directed by Thu Pa Saravanan and it is produced by Vishal himself. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the film. More promotional material will be out soon.
