Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja doesn't associate with films other than his own that often. He lends voice overs, supports young directors to find producers - if required and gives them all sorts of support during shooting but we never saw him produce a movie or present it as well.
He is presenting Vishnu Vishal's FIR in Telugu. Vishnu Vishal is a Tamil hero who did Ratsasan original and has hits like Indru Netru Naalai and few others.
He married Indian Badminton sensation from Hyderabad, Jwala Gutta recently and been in news in Telugu circles too. He starred in Rana Daggubati's Aranya as well.
FIR is releasing this February worldwide in Telugu and Tamil languages. The actor stated that Jwala Gutta advised him to release Ratsasan in Telugu but he couldn't. After watching FIR, she again suggested the same and as Vishnu Vishal himself is the producer he approached several producers from Telugu for association.
Ravi Teja happened to meet the actor and he praised his script selection. The actor praised Ravi Teja's mass movies too. He showed him FIR raw footage and Ravi Teja decided to present it in Telugu.
Gautham Vasudev Menon's associate Manu Anand is debuting as director with this film. Movie deals with a real incident happened in a Muslim boy's life but filmmakers promised to not hurt any religious sentiments.
