This Young Hero Over-Promoted His Film!

Vijay Devarakonda started using some bold words for his films ever since such publicity worked for Arjun Reddy. While that made people call him "Athikonda (exaggerator)", he is continuing that has his style.

Vishwak Sen seems to be following that path as well. But with dire results and "too much" attitude than required.

Falaknuma Das could have been a better hit, if not he "over-promoted" it with his aggressive speeches and abusive words in public in the name of attitude.

In case of his new release, HIT, he did not go for such kind of aggression, but he still made tall claims saying that people will only sit in half of their seats while watching the film, they should not drink much water as they might miss a twist if they rush outside for washroom emergency and many more, like this.

This is definitely "over-promiting" a film than it should have been as HIT is a decent procedural drama but not something that Telugu audiences have never witnessed on screen.

There were mystery thrillers right from 60's and such tall claims in 2020 will just lead to over-expectations from audiences and in-turn they will kill impression on a person, if film doesn't live up to those words.

Vijay killed his films like Dear Comrade and World Famous Lover, by such over-promotions and under-promotions. Hope, Vishwak understands this before it is too late.

HIT needed him to aggressively push it as a good film but not as something that people have never seen. There is a difference between them, which he and every one needs to understand.
