K Viswanath's remuneration demands

Iconic director K Viswanath is not making films these days, but he's busy as an actor. Though he's choosy, he's there in almost many big stars movies.
In the upcoming film of Nitin-Samantha under Trivikram's direction, "A..Aa", K Viswanath was roped in to play a key role as a grandfather. While the director-producer initially agreed to work for 1 lakh a day payment, later he demanded 2 lakh per day. Trivikram doesn't want to lose him out and obliged his demands.
Such remuneration demands are not new from seasoned character artists, but Viswanath is a shocking revelation.
