Vinayak Says Copying Is Not New!
X
Trivikram Srinivas who is revered as Guruji by many young audiences and film fans, has been gaining a lot of bad name for making A..Aa and Agnyathavasi. Both the films ended up being said as copies of some old French and Telugu movies.

Mainly, for Agnyathavasi, even French original director, Jerome Salle, claiming that his movie, Largo Winch has been plainly plagiarised, made Trivikram go completely slient unable to defend or answer about it to anyone.

The movie has brought up a big discussion about plagiarism, in plain terms, copying in Telugu Cinema. Many directors and writers started talking about it and so many films are being identified as "Inspirations" and copies too!

VV Vinayak who made Inttelligent his next release, said, "Taking inspiration from English or other language films existed from quite a long time. We did not all of a sudden invent this but taking the scenes as it is from original should be avoided. That is not get inspired, so I would stay away from doing that. But getting inspired is not at all wrong."

He also said, "Today, media and social media is quite strong but back in those days, it was such so concerned and people could easily get away. But making it such a big issue is unwarranted from my perspective."

He then congratulated many new filmmakers for making diverse content and he promised that he will make a content oriented small film with new actors in two years time.
