Tollywood's most prestigious Film Production House is all set to ring in the 50 years celebrations with Rebel Star Prabhas film in the direction of Nag Ashwin who made a master piece 'Mahanati' for Vyjayanthi Movies.
An Interesting update from the production house came in the nme of 'Vintge Vyjayanthi'. Rana Daggubati has dubbed that video which discussed the start of the production house by its founder Chalasani Ashwini Dutt.
In the video, Rana narrated the incident on how the banner got its name Vyjayanthi Movies and who named it? It was the legendary NTR who named the banner on the garland of Lord Sri Krishna and said that your work also remains unspoiled like the garland of Sri Krishna.
Those were the days when 21 years Ashwini Dutt wanted to do a movie with NTR and thus approached him after several efforts. Soon after he asked the name of the banner Ashwini Dutt was numb as he had not given a thought to it but was dreaming to have his banner name on the lines of the great Vijaya Productions. NTR for the first acted in Vyjayanthi Movies in 'Yeduruleni Manishi' which was a blockbuster and thus Ashwini Dutt didn't look back since then!
