It is never good to have a monopoly over certain things. They always lead to one or the other problem. The industry people reveal that the Nizam area is completely in the grip of Dil Raju and every big film releases in this area through his backing. It will be difficult to get theatres in the Nizam area without his help and this explains the level of authority he has.

This has become a hot topic in the industry circles for the past few months. Another distributor Warangal Sreenu decided to break this monopoly in the Nizam area. Dil Raju has been solely releasing big films in this area and Warangal Sreenu gradually became powerful and is now trying to give a competition to Dil Raju.

He gained a lot of recognition during the time of 'Krack'. The film was released on 9th January 2021 and it was a super hit. Vijay's 'Master' came four days after the release of 'Krack'. Warangal Sreenu complained that a lot of theatres were taken away from 'Krack' despite the film doing well. He added that it was done to accommodate theatres of 'Master' which is distributed by Dil Raju. He fought hard and stayed in the news. This led to a huge war between Warangal Sreenu and Dil Raju according to reports.

With Dil Raju gaining a lot of profits with films like 'Akhanda', 'Pushpa', 'RRR' and 'KGF – 2', Warangal Sreenu bought the Nizam rights of Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' for a heavy price. Apparently, he spent over 40 crores for the Nizam rights of 'Acharya' and it is the highest ever. He hoped to give a tough fight to Dil Raju in Nizam with 'Acharya' but all those plans went haywire with Megastar's film ending up as a huge disappointment. News is that Warangal Sreenu may lose up to 50 % of what he spent on 'Acharya'. We need to see when he recovers from the loss and starts giving tough competition to Dil Raju again.
