Varun Tej responded on drug scandal that's been shaking Tollywood during the promotional campaign of 'Fidaa'.
Asked about the Drug Scandal, Varun opined Notices were served just for the sake of questioning and that doesn't mean all of them have done something wrong. 'It's not scandal...all of them have issued clarification already. But, I don't want to take anyone's side. Drugs aren't good for our health..nothing is better than a healthy life,' he says.
When quizzed about his take on Puri Jagannath, Our Mega Hero certified the Filmmaker as a most carefree and positive person he had ever seen. 'Puri never talks badly about anybody. He treats everyone equally...I knew how well he takes care of his staff,' discloses Varun.
The 'Fidaa' Star didn't agree with the statement that Industry is getting bad image because of few individuals. He told film celebs have always been a soft target and people kept talking badly even before the drug racket was busted or when there was nothing.
