Yes, Telugu writers and directors please don't take us as "Know it All's" commenting on your work but think about what we are trying to convey here.
Web-series are not TV serials and the audience who see them are not 30-55 age group "TRP Aunties"! Even such group is slowly fading away with smartphones and young adults, adults looking for better options.
In Hindi, Tamil and other languages, the web-series is used to come up with youth oriented content and even bold, slightly pornographic too.
The medium is not about trying the same old formulaic stories but it is about making an attempt to segway from them and find your own voice.
Many web-series that Telugu writers and directors are coming up don't really hit the bullseye as they tend to follow the set 80's formulae that trying something out of box.
Mrs. Subbalakshmi by Manchu Lakshmi reminds us of the same and we feel, the idea of coming out of the box seems too uncomfortable for our Telugu producers.
See, in the end when all over the world, a film like Baahubali is able to gain a name for TFI, it is better to show that TFI is made of variety than just one or two technicians who could dare to dream big, got lucky!
