Were Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan invited to Acharya event?

On Saturday, Acharya Team conducted Pre-release event with Ram Charan, Megastar Chiranjeevi and SS Rajamouli attending it. Rajamouli was invited as special chief guest.

Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan seemed happy with the final cut. Koratala Siva, the writer and director seemed happy and relieved as the movie took three years of his life to be made and it is finally releasing. He had to go through lots of tensions with pandemic problem, Ram Charan's unavailability and availability due to RRR. He tried to even bring Mahesh Babu on board if Ram Charan isn't available at all.

Anyhow, his initial planned Ram Charan and Megastar Chiranjeevi combo worked out. Acharya is a homage to Chiranjeevi's classic 80's commercial potboilers as the movie has famous themes from those movies being repeated but in today's generation style. Theatrical trailer gives it away.

But many fans thought Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan will attend the pre-release event as Mahesh is a close friend of Koratala Siva and Pawan Kalyan loves society based themes in movies.

Also, Pawan Kalyan considers Ram Charan as his Baby brother and hence, him being one of the producers of the film, could trigger him to come to the event, thought many. But both were not seen and only Rajamouli made it to the event.

Now, the insider information states that only Rajamouli was invited and rest of all were rumours about Mahesh, Pawan Kalyan being present at the event. Pawan Kalyan is busy with Janasena Party works and Hari Hara Veera Mallu new schedule.

Mahesh finished his works for Sarkaaru Vaari Paata and he might go for a small vacation before promotions of the film starts for 12th May release. Hence, his presence for Acharya event was highly delusional.

He did give voice over to the film and wished all the success on social media. Acharya is releasing on 29th April.
