The stakes were exceptionally high on KGF 2 and RRR and luckily both these films had an excellent run at the global box office. While RRR has breached the highly exciting RS 1100 crores worldwide gross mark, KGF 2 is nearing the Rs 1000 crores mark in the worldwide tally.
But what about the theatrical footfalls of these two big ticket action entertainers which are two of the most anticipated films of the year.
As per the latest reports, the theatrical footfalls of KGF 2 are said to be around 3.75 crores which is slightly lesser when compared to that of RRR.
RRR has registered a whopping 4.4 crore footfalls till now. This is one of the highest ever footfalls count for any Indian film till now. The stat is a staggering one and it goes on to show the kind of reception the film got at the box office.
RRR and KGF 2's footfalls are locked at 4.4 crores and 3.75 crores respectively till now and these stats are recorded as of yesterday.
It remains to be seen how forthcoming biggies like Acharya and Sarkaru Vaari Paata will fare at the box office as they gear up for theatrical release in the next couple of weeks or so.
