She even shared a selfie with her inked finger and issued a strong statement to clear confusion over her citizenship. 'Never has there been any doubt in my mind about who I am or where I'm from. In a press conference, Deepika was questioned about her citizenship. In response, She made it clear: 'I have an Indian passport, from where did you get this info'.
When a media person pointed out about her place of birth, Deepika claimed to be having an Indian Passport. She added, 'I am very much an Indian, a proud Indian Citizen'.
