What happened to 'Jaanu'? No buzz at all!

People usually think that remakes are a short cut to success. But remaking a film which is considered as a cult classic is very tough. It is known that Sharwanand and Samantha are acting together in a love story titled 'Jaanu'. This film is a remake of super hit Tamil movie '96'. This is film is releasing on February 7th and the promotions have already started. But the film is getting zero buzz whatsoever.
The makers released a teaser, two songs and trailer till now but none of them got the desired response from the audience. The views on Youtube shows how the level of interest people have on this flick. '96' is a slow film which was taken to the next level by Vijay Sethupathi ad Trisha's phenomenal acting. This film suited their age and Tamil audience accepted this film with open arms. Telugu people have different taste and Sharwanand being a young actor did not work out for the film said some people.
His last film 'Ranarangam' was a major disappointment and his previous flick 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' was also a flop. So, people are showing zero interest in this film. The only asset of this film is Samantha but the lazy promotions from the team is bringing no hype on 'Jaanu'. It is high time Dil Raju and his team wake up and work aggressively on this film's publicity.
