What Happened To Telugu Hero's Debut Film in Bollywood?

The Tollywood film industry has the highest number of Pan-India stars at the moment. Current sensation Vijay Devarakonda also entered the list with his recent action entertainer Liger helmed by Puri Jagannath.
At the time when Telugu stars are making Pan-India films, Tollywood star Bellamkonda Srinivas is busy shooting for his direct Hindi film which is the official remake of SS Rajamouli's directorial Chatrapathi. Srinivas is doing the film in Hindi which made Prabhas a star hero.
It's been a long time since the move was announced. But there is no update about the film from the makers. The film is carrying good expectations. Moreover, the films coming from the south are making a good impact in the northern belt and the big hits in the nation are Pan-India films.
Though south films are turning out to be money spinners the story and the storytelling played a big part in the success. But Chatrapathi came more than 15 years back and making the film relevant to the current period is a big issue.
Ace director VV Vinayak is the director of the remake and it is said that a few changes were made to the original script. However, there is no update from the makers about the remake.
Reports say that the makers are being very cautious as south films have set a mark in Bollywood and they won't want to break it. As a few scenes did not come as planned reportedly the makers are busy making arrangements for the reshoot and this might be the reason behind the delay.
