What Happened To This Brilliant Filmmaker?

Writer-director Vikram Kumar is regarded as one of the most talented filmmakers. Films like '13B', 'Ishq', 'Manam' and '24' prove his creativity and versatility. He is known for narrating complicated stories in a very easy manner.
He made 'Hello' with Akhil which got good reviews but failed to succeed commercially. Such a director is now finding it difficult to write a perfect story. He was supposed to work with Allu Arjun and he worked on the script for more than six months but he failed to impress him. He even joined hands with Vakkantham Vamsi to write a perfect story for Bunny which didn't work out and the project was dropped.
His 'Gang Leader' too was unsatisfactory and sources say that he recently gave narration to three star heroes but all he heard is a big no from them. News is that Dil Raju convinced him to direct a film with BVS Ravi's story but the plot is yet to get finalized. Vikram Kumar doesn't like to work on stories of others but his stories are not able to get the nod from our heroes.
There was a time when Vikram Kumar was rumoured to be teaming up with Mahesh Babu after '24' but he is now failing to get a green signal from Naga Chaitanya. Hope this creative director gets his mojo back and start his next film as soon as possible.
