What Is Happening With Parasuram's Next Project?

Young Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya signed a film under the 14 Reels Plus banner long back. 'Solo' and 'Geetha Govindham' fame Parasuram was brought on board as the director and the official announced regarding this project was also made. But Parasuram got a chance to work with superstar Mahesh and the director convinced the makers to keep Chaitanya's project on hold.
While Parasuram made 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' with Mahesh, Chaitanya focused on other projects. As we know, 'SVP' failed to meet the expectations. The superstardom of Mahesh helped the film in getting huge openings but the film has a very weak story and many opined that Parasuram failed to make the best use of such a huge opportunity.
In the meanwhile, Chaitanya faced was shocked by the result of 'Thank You' and 'Laal Singh Chadda'. Chaitanya reunited with his 'Manam' director Vikram Kumar and made 'Thank You' which was a feel-good entertainer. The movie arrived with a positive buzz but it failed to meet the expectations and ended up in huge losses.
Coming to 'Laal Singh Chadda', it was his maiden Hindi film. He played a supporting role to Aamir Khan's lead character. But the film bagged negative talk right from the morning shows and ended up as a huge disaster.
With the disastrous results of 'Thank You' and 'Laal Singh Chadda', Naga Chaitanya has reportedly decided to put Parasuram's film on hold. With the story not getting finalized with Parasuram even after repeated narrations, he is reportedly planning to sideline this project. Apparently, he asked the director to come up with something fresh rather than a regular commercial drama. Currently, Chaitanya is working on Venkat Prabhu's film and his 'Dhoota' web series is expected to come out soon.
