What Is Logic Behind These Late Releases?

We tend to come up with all sorts of analysis and details regarding new movies - at box office and at various stages of production. We are here to inform what we understand and help you in understanding as well.
But we are also baffled by the logic less releases that we witnessed in past two months regarding dubbing films.
Anjali CBI, Viswasam, Sarvam Thala Mayam released this year after getting some critical acclaim in Tamil and becoming hits.
They all were released after they were available on OTT platforms with subtitles. No one will show interest to travel 10-15 miles and spend Rs.500 to watch them at theaters with family when they play them in Ultra HD in their homes.
Even people from rural areas are giving preference to watching movies on smart phones and we have to say that the evolution of social media has made them aware about subtitles too.
The OTT platforms are thinking about coming up with language specific subtitles and even better, they are planning to dub and make some huge blockbusters available in different languages from one language in next 5 years to become top source of entertainment to people.
So, if a dubbed film needs to survive and make money it should release with the film's original release everywhere or within a week. Not after 50 or 60 days. Those days are gone and will not return too!
