MM Keeravani has been the go-to composer for big ticket films for 2 decades now. After Annamayya, no other composer is approached for devotional films.
Similarly, even for films that come up with fantastical themes, he has been the first choice and if he isn't available others got chances.
He himself reduced on the work load looking at the emergence of new talent. Now, he is working for NTR biopic and RRR.
At an interview, he said, "I was approached to work for a biopic. I thought the well-known maker is going too away from the truth and fabricate stuff.
I asked him if he is going to show the big personality, actor, who he chose to make a biopic off, death as controversial or devotional? He said he has a third ending in mind.
I immediately decided to not work for it. I don't think I can take that much fabrication," concluded the composer.
