What Is The Reason Behind Nithiin's Confusion On 'Maestro'?
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Aug 2021 11:33 AM GMTBy now everyone knows that Nithiin's upcoming black comedy 'Maestro' will be releasing on the popular OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. It was made crystal clear in the recently released official trailer. But there is a lot of uncertainty over the release date of the film. There were rumours that the film will be premiered on 10th September but the trailer which released yesterday evening showcased that the film will be coming out on 9th September.
But Nithiin surprised everyone by deleting the tweet immediately and released another trailer in a short time and it doesn't have a release date. It just says 'Coming Soon' which was a bit strange. Many people are wondering why Nithiin and team had a change of mind regarding the release date. Sources say that Nithiin might have been influenced by the exhibitors who are against OTT releases. Sunil Narang even said that big films which are coming out in OTT platforms should not come out during the festive time as it affects the theatrical releases. We need to wait and see when the film officially releases on Hotstar.
Maestro' is a remake of Hindi super hit flick 'Andhadhun' starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu in the lead. Star actress Tamannaah Bhatia is playing a crucial role in this black comedy while glamorous beauty Nabha Natesh will be seen as Nithiin's romantic interest. Nithiin will be seen playing a blind guy's role in this interesting movie. The film also features actors like Naresh, Jishhusen Gupta, Sreemukhi, Ananya Harshavardhan, Racha Ravi, Mangli, Srinivas Reddy and others in important roles.
Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy are bankrolling this project under 'Shreshth Movies' banner while Yuvaraj is the director of photography. SR Sekhar is the editor. Merlapaka Gandhi who scored hits like 'Express Raja' and 'Venkatadri Express' is directing this movie. The songs which came out till date got a very good response from the audience and the trailer looked amazing and created a lot of curiosity over the movie.
Not just 'Maestro' but Nani's 'Tuck Jagadish' is also releasing digitally which is worrying the exhibitors. On the other hand, 'Love Story' will be hitting the screens on 10th September. Let us wait and see what happens in the coming days.
